	&lt;p&gt;The town is awash with red + white flags. From the windows of the high rise flats in the tenements, to the windows of the passing cars, it seems that this entire town is one great advert for England.&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;Except it only seems to happen on two separate events; England is playing sustained international football (World Cup, as in this instance, or the Euro Whatever games), or when we've won a war, which, let's face it, isn't going to happen in a hurry.&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;Mindless bandwagonism at its height.
