From the windows of the high rise flats in the tenements, to the windows of the passing cars, it seems that this entire town is one great advert for England.</p> <p>Except it only seems to happen on two separate events; England is playing sustained international football (World Cup, as in this instance, or the Euro Whatever games), or when we've won a war, which, let's face it, isn't going to happen in a hurry.</p> <p>Mindless bandwagonism at its height. </p> <p> <small> <a href="http://thistownsreligion.blog.co.uk/2006/06/18/the_patriots~892470/#comments">Comments</a> </small> </p>
